  • Advent Event Sunday, December 2, 9:15-10:15 a.m., Parish Hall

    The season of Advent (Latin for arrival) is a time of preparation for the great Feast of Christmas.  Advent begins this year on Sunday, December 2.  Families and friends are all invited to the Parish Hall at 9:15am, to make Advent wreaths and other crafts, and for refreshments. You are welcome to bring an Advent Wreath you may already have, and top it up, or share your own greenery and décor. Our Advent Event will take the place of Children’s Formation hour in the atria.  There will be no Catechesis of the Good Shepherd that Sunday.

    Like discussing movies and what they might mean to you or even the filmmakers themselves? Do you have thoughts on meaning, spirituality, and what makes quality storytelling? Then join hosts Aaron Kirk and Amy Nordhausen as we talk about movies from all angles - from pure entertainment value to the creative craftsmanship of making a film and putting it into the world. On Thursday, November 15th, we'll discuss The Princess Bride (1987), a cult classic!

  • The Brotherhood of St. Andrew College Football Game Day Tailgating Party Saturday, December 1, 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Parish Hall

    We will be live streaming in the Parish Hall  several conference championship games such as the SEC game between Alabama and Georgia. We invite tail-gators to set up camp for the day in spaces reserved for that purpose for a $10 donation. Those who want to just watch the games displayed on the big screen are welcome too. We will be selling BBQ, drinks, and snacks. We will award trophies to the best tail-gating setups.

  • Honduras Good Works Collecting Supplies

    Honduras Good Works is starting to collect school supplies for the high school scholarship trips 12/2018 and 2/2019. School supplies are starting to go on sale so feel free to pick up a few notebooks, pens, pencils to help with this very worthy cause.
