Confirmation Sunday is scheduled for April 28 at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop presiding. We are delighted that he will visit us that day and celebrate the Eucharist at our morning services. I will be teaching the confirmation class with the support of Mother Kelly, Father Mike and Adult Sponsors the Sunday mornings of March 24 & 31st, as well as April 7th and 14th from 9:15-10:15 a.m. in the Ridley Room, (next to the Choir Room). Snacks will be included.

We look forward to spending time with your child, hearing about their life and diving deeper into the Anglican fundamentals that shape how we how we live out our Christian faith each day. It will be important that students attend all four services and submit a short report in the end. Please download, fill out and return this Registration Form to the church office.

If your child would like to be confirmed, but cannot attend all four classes, we will try our best to accommodate. But if accommodations do not fit, we will plan to include them next school year when the class is offered again.

Please discuss this as a family and let us know if you plan on attending. You remain in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to seeing you soon!

  • Community Outreach Opportunity

St. Richard's Youth Ministry is partnering with The Souper Bowl of Caring, an organization that utilizes Superbowl weekend in America to mobilize young people to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities. Our young people are collecting monetary and food donations during the weeks leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. 100% of the money and food is then logged into a database to monitor results and given directly to local charities of the group's choice.

To date, this movement has generated over $100 million for soup kitchens, food banks and other charities across the nation. We invite you to join us as together, we #TACKLEHUNGER!

We selected The Caring Place, Love-Serve-Feed and Round Rock Area Serving Center as recipients of the canned goods and food items we collect from January 20 to Super Bowl Sunday, February 3.

Donation barrels are placed in the church Narthex and office. We hope you'll participate!  Online donations to support our efforts can be made at www.saintrichards.org/giving Select: YOUTH MINISTRY and Memo: SOUPER BOWL
