Glen was confirmed at St. Richard’s in 2014 after a journey that began with the Mennonites and led through the Baptists and Methodists. He was very active as a Baptist teaching Sunday School and serving as an elder. He is so grateful to be finally home here at Saint Richard’s. He has been active in The Brotherhood of St. Andrew and now serves as its director. He is also a Eucharistic Minister and has helped out at the Pumpkin Patch and Vacation Bible School.
Glen was born in Chicago, Illinois, finished high school in Colorado, went to college at Wheaton College in Illinois, and graduate school at Baylor University. He and his wife Melanie met in graduate school and have been married for forty-six years. They have three sons and thirteen grandchildren. Glen moved to Austin from The Woodlands after retiring from the faculty at Sam Houston State University and closing his psychology practice.
