The Vestry is pleased to announce the members of the Rector Search Committee. The formation of this committee is an important step forward in the search for our next rector, and we are grateful to these individuals for their dedication to our parish. In addition to sharing a love of our parish and a collaborative spirit, this group brings a wide array of talents and experiences to the search process. Please keep them in your prayers in the coming months.

Laura has served as teacher in the Godly Play classroom and volunteer for the youth group.  She is a physical therapist and enjoys helping people recover from injury and get back to life.  She has been a Girl Scout leader for 10 years and currently Communications Coordinator for one of the Round Rock GS service units.  Her family has attended St. Richards since 2011.  She is married to Chris and they have 2 young adults involved in St. Richards youth group.

"I am excited to help St. Richard's find an individual who will help continue to grow our congregation both spiritually and as leaders in our community."

Linda is a member of the St. Richard's Choir, facilitator of the Wednesday Bible Study, VBS volunteer, and serves as president of our Daughters of the King Order.  She and her retired priest husband, Ron, are involved in several small groups and Bible studies.  She is a life-long educator, from Sunday school to teaching English and Science in Middle School, High School, and College classes, though retired from professional education instruction at this time. Ron and Linda moved to Round Rock in late 2015 to live close to their family here (4 grandchildren!), and found St. Richard's to be our new church home, full of loving, friendly, steadfast brothers and sisters.

"It is a great honor and responsibility to be an integral part of our parish in this role of Search Committee member.  I pledge to give my all, in prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, to this task given us by the LORD, knowing that in all things, His will be done. Thank you for prayerful support of the team."

Diane has been a member of St. Richards since 1989, baptizing their first child a few months later.  She has served on the Altar Guild for over 25 years, most recently as the Director. She was also the K-5/1st grade Sunday school teacher for 20 years, delivering the Godly Play curriculum.  She is recently retired from Farmers Insurance after 33 years, serving in a leadership role throughout her career.  In last 10 years she held the position of a Sr. Manager in the Learning and Development field. She has been married to Tim for 33 years with two children, Chris and Katie. In the last 4 years they have added to their family, Katie's husband, Jason Atnip and their son Landon; Tim and Diane's first grandchild.

I look forward to finding the next leader who is the right fit for our church community and can continue the momentum we have experienced in the last few years.

I have been a member at St. Richards 17 years. I taught Sunday school for 2 years, I serve on the Altar Guild as well as the 1st Sunday breakfast ministry. I am a Relationship Manager for Qualified Retirement Plans.

I am excited and honored to be a member of the group that will find our next Rector at St. Richards that will serve us and our community well for many years to come.

Justin has been an usher, Sunday school teacher, a lector/LEM and an active member of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.  He is also a proud member of the award-winning St. Richard’s BBQ cook team.  Justin met the love of his life in October of 2001 and married Amy in 2004 and has two beautiful daughters. They previous attended St. David’s Austin until the trek to downtown Austin became too much.  They started attending St. Richards in 2014 and haven’t looked back.  Justin is currently the Director of Business Development of a private security company and has a staff of 42 employees.

Blessed to serve!

I am a "cradle" Episcopalian, and have been at St. Richard's since January, 2012.  I have taught Sunday school for many years and love doing the Lectionary Class here.  I have also done the Bible teaching for VBS every year here--also a great joy.  Mickey and I have been married 53 years and have a precious family which is a huge blessing for us.

"My hope and my prayer is that we will seek God's will and choice for St. Richard's together and be brought to unity in hearing Him."

Aaron and his family have been a part of the Saint Richards community for going on three years. He currently teaches the Level II Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with his wife, Jessica and also co-leads a monthly movie discussion group, Film Club, with Amy Nordhausen. Previously he led a Sunday school class that incorporated movies as well. He and Jessica have three daughters and three cats. He is employed by Apple and enjoys writing, filmmaking, and lots of quality time with his family (mostly the wife and daughters but yeah, the cats too).

As a lifetime member of the Episcopal Church, Tom served a number of times on vestries in two different parishes, and has served many different roles in the church over the years.  Tom has been a member of St. Richard's for three years.

"With the parish profile and survey in hand, I look forward to the challenge and opportunity of our finding a rector that will help lead us on the next steps in our journey in St. Richard's part of the Jesus movement."

Pauline has been part of the Community of Hope for several years and feels blessed to be able to visit with members of St. Richard's who cannot attend church services. She has also been a volunteer with the Pumpkin Patch and helped with Sunday brunches and other events. Pauline is a retired Career Coach and Corporate Trainer. She has been a member of St. Richard's for over 20 years and is married to Robert, who is active in the Episcopal Veterans' Fellowhip.

"I'm honored to be chosen for the opportunity to help select the next leader to help guide our loving parish toward accomplishing great things.

I serve as an Usher, on the Alter Guild, and Daughters of the King.  I do various other services opportunity inside and outside of Church.  I have been a member of St Richards since September 2013.  I own a small construction company, last year I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Biochemistry.

I enjoy helping others and being a vessel for God.  I look forward to this new commitment to grow closer to the congregation and to learn more to assist in getting the right fit for our wonderful church family.

He works the Pumpkin Patch and the festival, serves at the RR Serving Center is a Kitchen Angel and helps out with First Sunday Brunch. He has been a member of St. Richard’s since 1980.

I believe Bible teachings and the Church Canons guide our lives and help us make decisions.

David has been Church Treasurer and is currently Chairman of the Finance Committee. He has served as Small Group Coordinator, Sunday School Teacher, Verger, lay minister, supported Theology Live, served on the Diocese Executive Board and co-directed Camp Good News. He is married to Becky and has been a long time active member of St. Richard’s.

Working with and supporting ministries in all phases of the life of the St. Richard’s family, and an understanding of Church Canons and Biblical teachings will help me in selecting a rector for St. Richard’s.
