NAJO (Nacho Average Jazz Orchestra)
SUNDAY, OCT. 11th at 5:00 P.M. in the Nave!
Nacho Average Jazz Orchestra brings its unique brand of contemporary big band jazz and a Halloween-appropriate collection of spooky tunes Oct. 11 (5 PM) to St. Richard’s Episcopal Church, 1420 East Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock. Fun for all ages, dancing in the aisles strongly encouraged! From Ghostbusters and Thriller themes to Hymn to Freedom and a cool take on Fanfare for the Common Man, there’s something for everyone.
The show is free, donations for the band gratefully accepted at the door ($10 suggested). Plenty of free parking on site. And once you’re in the Halloween mood, be sure to visit the St. Richard’s Pumpkin Patch on your way home – all proceeds benefit Round Rock area community organizations and projects.

Coming up on November 8 at 5 PM, lyric baritone Blayne Stonecipher and pianist Mateusz Perz will present a beautiful collection of works by Bach, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Quilter, Fine and Forrest. (Watch this space for a finalized program list!)
And on December 13, we’re excited to welcome the Capitol City Brass Quintet for a fun holiday concert and sing-along! Wear your ugliest holiday sweater and biggest grin, and come ready to indulge in cookies and cider!

A Musical Feast Concert Series began in 1997 as an effort to give local musicians a good acoustic space in which to perform for people who wanted to listen to (rather than talk over) them, and to provide a pleasant opportunity for music lovers who couldn’t afford concert venues or get to clubs to simply come enjoy good music and give what they could in support. This monthly (usually) second-Sunday event moves to different host churches as situations warrant and is currently hosted by St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Round Rock. It’s a true community event, bringing together a diverse collection of people to support and enjoy the work of local musicians. The concerts are free; if you are able to contribute, donations for our artists will be gratefully accepted at the door ($10 suggested). All is on one level and easily accessible for those coping with mobility challenges. Plenty of free parking is available on site at 1420 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock (78664).
