A Musical Feast Concert Series

Every second Sunday of the month; free and open to the public

A MUSICAL FEAST CONCERT SERIES presents “An Enchanted Evening” with the Austin Girls’ Choir and Mosaic Women’s Ensemble on SUNDAY, SEPT. 14th at 5:00 P.M. in the Parish Hall!

Austin Girls’ Choir and Mosaic Women’s Ensemble team up to present An Enchanted Evening on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Great for all ages, this family-friendly show features American Songbook classics and pop favorites from the ‘40’s through the ‘80’s. Seating will be cabaret-style and candle-lit, so you can enjoy refreshments throughout. It’s a particularly special night for Austin Girls’ Choir, too — this group, which was founded by our own music director, Sara Burden-McClure, is celebrating its 35th anniversary!

The program is a fun trip down Memory Lane, with such songs as “Star Dust,” “Mister Sandman,” “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Imagine,” “Linger” and many more. And yes, THAT song, too! Bonus: if you can’t make it on the 14th, they’ll present the show on Saturday, August 13 as well, at 7 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in north Austin, 2200 Justin Lane.

Both Mosaic and Austin Girls’ Choir will pivot to a new set of repertoire after the show, preparing for the holiday season. They’ll also welcome new singers at that time, so if you or a singer you know would like to get involved, contact Sara at sara@saintrichards.org about setting up a placement audition. For more information about the ensembles, please visit www.girlschoir.com.

Plenty of free parking is available on site at 1420 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock (78664). St. Richard’s is all on one level and comfortably accessible for those who are mobility-challenged. For questions, please contact Sara Burden-McClure, sara@saintrichards.org.
