Equipping and empowering students “for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” Eph. 4:12 and long term faith development. We remind students they’re “wonderfully made,” and Loved!

CONFIRMATION CLASSES

Confirmation Classes are held ahead of the bishop’s visitation each year. Most of the time classes are held in the Spring.

Throughout the year our youth help with musical offerings. They also help lead Vacation Bible School, Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser, Youth $ Senior Sunday, and more!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We take the Great Commandment to “love one another” as Christ has loved us seriously and work to make difference in the community. Some of the organizations we have supported are the Round Rock Area Serving Center, Love Serve Feed, Robertson Elementary, Texas Baptist Children’s Home and Williamson County Juvenile Services.

YOUTH RETREATS

We worship and serve along side other area churches and denominations at Discipleship Now Retreat(DNOW) Weekends.

Our students serve on mission trips each year. These trips open eyes and hearts to where God is working beyond our local experiences.

In 2025, our youth traveled to North Carolina to help with Hurricane Helene Relief and to Arlington to serve at Mission Arlington. In 2024, they traveled to Puerto Rico to serve with the Episcopal Diocese of Puerto Rico and, in 2023, at Murrow Indian Children’s Home in Muskogee, OK.

Our students also attend and serve as counselors at Summer Camps such as Camp Allen, Camp Capers, and attend Happening Retreats.

VBS-2024

Join us for St. Richard’s VBS 2024!

Camp Firelight: “A Summer Camp Adventure with God!”

Saint Richard’s invites ALL children in the community, ages 4 through rising 5th graders, on an exciting journey to come learn about trusting God no matter what situation life brings, knowing God is always with them, and to feel confident in sharing the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ.

Campers will experience stories through music, drama, games, arts and crafts, science, and even snacks. They’ll learn ways to connect with and trust God back at home, church and every area of their lives through VBS.

Volunteers are also needed! Adults and students (rising 6th graders and older) are invited to serve as Camp Counselors, with Music, Games, Snacks, Crafts and more!
