DAUGHTERS OF THE KING (DOK)

The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK) is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of prayer, service and evangelism. As individuals, our goal is to grow closer to God through prayer and Bible study so that we may serve in whatever capacity our gifts and talents allow.

We meet each month on the second Sunday after the 10:30 service in the Ridley room. We will be starting a training for anyone interested in joining the order. If you want information or want to register for the class, please contact Helen Paulsen

EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN (ECW)

ECW is a national organization of the Episcopal Church with chapters all around the United States.

“Since 1871, the National Episcopal Church Women, ECW, have championed women’s rights and the Christian foundation of God and family. They are an affiliate of the Episcopal Church and celebrate that Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Their women’s ministry and children’s programs feed, educate, and provide community grants around the world. They are a volunteer organization that creates a legacy for Episcopal Church Women to lead future generations with stewardship in Christ.”

All women attending St. Richards are automatically eligible to participate in ECW activities, which includes fellowship, Bible study, retreats, outreach and support for families within the church. If you are interested in ECW, please contact the Church Office at (512) 255-5436.
