ERNEST MUELLER
Ernest Mueller grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas in the United Methodist church. During his college years at Rice University in Houston, he actively embraced his faith and the local Episcopal student center, Autry House, became a favorite place for he and his friends to worship.
He has worked in the tech industry for 30 years, from enterprises to startups, doing DevOps, cloud engineering, and technical leadership. He is currently an Associate Director in the Cloud First organization at Accenture. Ernest is also the author of a line of DevOps courses on LinkedIn Learning and is active in organizing conferences and user groups for the technical community in the Austin area.
In 2002 he moved to Austin to settle down after the birth of his son Chase and has been in the area ever since. He found St. Richards when Chase started school, prompting a move to Round Rock. Father Stu’s quoting of Chris Rock during his sermon convinced the two to stay for the long haul.
In his spare time Ernest is an avid role-playing gamer (Dungeons & Dragons and many more), a film buff, and computer gamer.
